"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I just read your journal. I agree completely, but I have a feeling it might be futile.
It's sad. :/ No one's ever ripped off me (not yet, anyway), but I've seen it happen and it's just plain wrong. One guy actually was selling iron-on tee shirts on E-bay using some of bleedman's work, not too mention several friggin' screenshots from video games, etc.
If we got to vote on that policy, I'd vote against letting 'em do it so easy.
